Acu-Rite Encoders & Extras
With more than one million in use today, ACU-RITE® Precision Glass Scales withstand the elements of even the harshest machine shop environments. Built to resist changes in size, shape, or density due to temperature and humidity variations, this stability provides exceptional accuracy, resulting in tighter workpiece tolerances. ACU-RITE® scales are available in travel lengths from 1″ – 120″ and in resolutions from 0.5μm (.00002″) to 5μm (.0002″).
ACU-RITE’s 3-D Electronic Edge Finder is designed for use with the 200S and 300S series readouts or the MILLPWRG2 2- and 3-axis control/3-axis readout system. This probe, mounted in the spindle, automatically zeros on contact with either conductive or nonconducting materials, increasing operator speed and accuracy when establishing datum (workpiece zero). The ACU-RITE Electronic Edge Finder is an ideal tool for any machinist or operator responsible for efficient, accurate work. It accommodates a wide range of jobs, decreases setup times and ensures precise, repeatable positioning.
ACU-RITE SENC 150
The SENC 150 from ACU-RITE is the ideal scale for all applications. Used with ACU-RITE’s VUE, 200S, and 300S digital readouts.
The compact and robust design, and the numerous possibilities for mounting, make it ideal for retrofitting. The slight dimensions and high accuracies of this ball-bearing guided encoder, which uses the reflected light method, are ideal prerequisites that can be used in metrology applications.
ACU-RITE LMF 9310
The LMF 9310 Multi-Section Inductive Encoder is a guided measuring system that uses an LMK scanning head with TTL incremental signals and an inductive measuring tape clamped on an integrated guiderail. When properly intsalled to specifications, this encoder has an Ingress Protection Rating of 67 (IP67), leaving this measurement system virtually unaffected by environmental contaminats (i.e. oil, coolant, etc.). With the incorporation of the included mounting coupling on the scanning head, high mounting tolerances can be realized — especially for longer measuring lengths. Durable, dependable and affordable all-in-one package.
ACU-RITE Edge Finder
The KT 130 is a 3-D triggering edge finder. This means it can also be used for nonconducting materials. The stylus is deflected when it contacts the workpiece, and the edge finder sends a triggering signal over the connecting cable to the 200S or 300S digital readout or MILLPWRG2.
The KT 130 edge finder allows you to set datums quickly and easily, without leaving marks on the workpiece.
